The kit comprises two aluminium spacers, 29mm diameter X 16mm high with a 9mm hole drilled through the centre.  Also two stainless steel grade M6 X 40mm button head bolts.

If you remove the snorkel or airbox lid complete and raise the front of the tank a few mm then the engine can draw in colder more dense and air, which in theory gives  more power.

The kit will also work with a tank fillet in place.

This dyno was taken before and after with this kit fitted and the snorkel removed on a 2003 SV1000s.

The red line is the result after removing the snorkel and raising the tank. No other changes were made.
